- Weapon Engineering, is an intriguing blend of imagery inspired by the weapons of war, and the remarkable advances brought to us by the massacre of billions, it seems in this world that if you want a reliable piece of equipment then military grade is a byword for purist functionality.
In response to this and other thoughts on the nature of military vs civilian engineering, serocell gives us a study of the menacing overtones of precision that lie at the core of modern warfare, the air conditioned cockpits of smart weapon studded Apaches, point and click killings and carpet bombing launched from floating weapons platforms destined for school children, and hospitals.
The irony that the machines used to make this art were developed in part by the military, but equally 3d game programmers is not lost on serocell. If one were to paraphrase these themes a good image would be that of the white sheen of a scrubbed military floor, soiled only by a single drop of blood. - credits
